Hi All,

As you may have already realized, Google has just completed updating its toolbar PRs.  To my delight, 17 of my sites had achieved PR6 and PR5 from various lower PRs.  Unfortunately, LavaSeek.com had apparently missed the boat as the site was launched just 6 weeks ago. 
 
Not that PR really matters...PR  matters simply because it still matters to a lot of people.  Unfortunately, it tends to matter more to web directories as many site owners target high-PR directories because they are believed to "pass" more PR to their own sites.

Needless to say, our current PR of 0 does not reflect the quality of our site, or the traffic we're getting, or even the number the links pointing to our site.  Hopefully, for what PR is worth, we'll do better on the next update.

PR aside, LavaSeek continues to break its own traffic records, attesting to our commitment to enhancing and marketing the site. Our bookmark rate hovers at around 40%-- obviously a lot of people think this site is worth a second look.

I have recently added a meta-search engine to go along with the web directory, blogs, and article directory.  In fact, you can search the entire DMOZ directory without leaving our site....so I guess that makes us even bigger than DMOZ itself...hehehe.

I want Lavaseek to be more than just a web directory where people go to submit linksto boost their PRs.  I want it to become a reliable resource where people actually go to search for things.  Thanks to you, this is becoming more and more of a reality everyday!
