Welcome to LavaSeek, Everyone!

My name is Oudam, and I am the publisher of LavaSeek.com.  LavaSeek is the latest of several dozen (I lost count) sites that I've undertaken over the years since 1995.  Hopefully, this will be my most successful site, yet!  Obviously, I haven't really made a killing on the web yet; otherwise I would not be working on a forty-somethingth dotcom.  But I haven't exactly been a roadkill on the information superhighway, either, and have managed to make a decent living on the net for the last ten years.

As you can probably tell, LavaSeek is a work in progress. This blog will serve as a bulletin for announcements, developments and other issues related to the site.

The site has been up only a month ago, but it is now receiving around 150 unique visits and around 50 link submissions a day.  I have approved 850 links so far and will regularly audit the links for quality purposes.

LavaSeek is a web directory, yes, but I want it to be more than just that.  In LavaSeek I want to build a comprehensive link building resource.  I have recently installed the ArticleLive article directory script on the site and will use the article directory to allow people to promote their sites through articles, in addition to links.

LavaSeek currently has a Google PageRank of 0 but I don't expect it stay that way for very long as I am linking to it from many of my other sites as well as spending a lot of time and money on other channels. In the coming weeks I will add new features and enhancements to the site to make a more complete linking building resource.   I have a lot of plans for the site that I cannot reveal at this time (if you visit this site often enough, you'll see them unfold!).
